 Foote's Valley Farm was started in 1956 with a small corn wagon. We then progressed to a small stand. Several expansions were later added. First, a bakery was added. Next, a greenhouse was added in 1962 to include bedding plants and garden center items. Business continued in the valley, but the danger of the Cuyahoga River flooding seemed to be ever increasing. Therefore, in 2008, we closed early to fill the property and erect a new building above the flood plain. Foote's is still owned by Sue and Earl Foote. In these last couple of years, we added more greenhouse next to the new building to provide plants and vegetables. The greenhouse is run by one of Sue and Earl's sons, Robert Foote.
Foote's still offers the best produce, bakery, and of course our own Homegrown Sweet Corn available mid-summer.
Pumpkins, Ohio grown apples and corn stalks line the store for sale in the fall. We have a hay maze for younger kids every fall. A multitude of pies and Christmas trees are available during the Holidays.
Things are blooming at Foote's! To welcome the season, we will be have a DRAWING for CUSTOMERS COMING IN ON WEDNESDAYS in MAY! (prize drawing happens Thursdays)
